24th OCTOBER 2009: WORCESTER SPY TRAIL
A 2.5 mile walk around Worcester and it’s riverside completing the trail questions. We arrive by train, at a subscription of £ 1.50 per person. Meeting at Snow Hill Railway Station at 10am.
31st OCTOBER 2009: NATIONAL ARBORETUM
The Forces Memorial, opened in 2007, is a moving and beautiful setting for an autumn day. A walk of up to 4 miles around Alrewas will also be arranged.
Meet 09.20 at Walsall Bus Station for 09.35 bus to Lichfield.
3rd DECEMBER 2009: CHRISTMAS DINNER
TABLE TABLE BLUE BRICK restaurant in Wolverhampton was chosen for our Christmas Dinner. We require definite bookings with a none-refundable deposit of £5 per person by 18th October 2009.
10th DECEMBER 2009: A CHRISTMAS CAROL IN 3D
The IMAX Cinema in Curzon Street, Millennium Point, Birmingham, is showing Dickens’ story of Ebenezer Scrooge in 3D. We will have to book as there is quite a demand for tickets, prices for adults £8, concessions £6.15. Show time will be 8.30pm, it is a short walk from Snow Hill. Meet at Bilston Metro station at 7pm for 7.15 departure. Definite bookings with cost of ticket by 6th November 2009.
