Walk leaders reserve the right to change or amend a walk without prior notice. Bad weather can sometimes force the cancellation of a walk, please call the leader to check. Attention, walkers are requested to remain within sight of the walk leader whilst on group walks. If leaving a walk for any reason Inform the Walk Leader before leaving. Walk leaders also reserve the right to refuse anyone access to a walk who is felt to be inappropriately equipped or fit for the walk planned. If you are in doubt about any aspect of the walk please do not hesitate to contact the walk leader.
If you require food or drink during a walk it is YOUR OWN responsibility to carry it, do not rely on there being a Pub or Cafe stop en route! Clothing, you are expected to be suitably clad for the weather and carrying a raincoat or waterproof is strongly advised. Footwear: Boots or Strong Walking shoes are advisable. If the walk leader considers you are unsuitably dressed He/She has the right to refuse to allow you to join the walk.
Attention, walkers must remain within sight of the walk leader whilst on group walks. A recent accident where the Walk Leader was injured stresses the importance of staying close together, it could have been more serious had it happened to someone who had left the walk, without informing the leader!
No dogs are allowed on walks except Assistance dogs, and then only at the discretion of the walk leader. Owners of Assistance dogs MUST contact the walk leader in advance of the walk. New Members and Members’ Guests and Visitors and any Members of the Public are always welcome to join our walks and social events unless otherwise stated.
